There are also three icons in the bottom left corner that represent your current settings, such as brightness, sound, and screen timeout. The second page is where you would typically put your apps. The front-facing 2 MP camera on the Kindle Fire has an aperture of f/2.2 and a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels in a 4:3 aspect ratio. The camera is not very good and selfies are incredibly hazy and out of focus. The photographs’ exposure might also be made better.

The camera on the predecessor was not very good and it was replaced by a 5MP lens with an f/2.4 aperture. The camera is much better in terms of sharpness and dynamism, but it is not as good in terms of detail and structure. In extremely dim light, the test person is barely recognizable.

The Fire HD 10 Plus is surprisingly well-capable of capturing color, with the rear-facing main camera able to capture accurate reference colors while the front-facing camera can capture moving images and 720p videos. The ColorChecker only detects bigger differences in black and grey tones, making it a great option for those who want to be sure their photos and videos are accurate.

Battery life

The regular Fire HD 10 doesn’t support wireless charging, only the Plus model does. Wireless charging was not something we could test, but we anticipate it to take even longer. Notably, the regular Fire HD 10 doesn’t support wireless charging; only the Plus model does. ..
