The audio quality of the Beats by Dr. Dre Solo2 is excellent. The balanced armature provides great sound quality for all types of music, and the 10.6mm dynamic driver provides clear and detailed sound for all types of music. The earphones are Bluetooth 5.2 compatible and support the AAC, LDAC, and SBC Bluetooth codecs, but not AptX.
The earpieces come with capacitive touch surfaces that require a double tap by default. The right earpiece controls playback while the left skips forward a track.
