The colors used in our suite’s graphical output were often saturated and the TS5120 did ok at distinguishing between similar tones and narrow colored lines. Many of the backgrounds appeared slightly faded, many had light banding (a recurring pattern of striations), and several of the illustrations had some dithering in the form of dot patterns. For domestic and common school use, graphics are acceptable.
When I took this photo, the printer was on the light side. The colors were not as bright as I would have liked and there was a slight tint to the image. This printer is suitable for photos that will be used on a refrigerator or bulletin board, but it is not recommended for aspiring photographers.
