Apple has just announced that the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max variants will ship between December 27, 2022, and January 3, 2023. This means that people have about 4-5 weeks to get their hands on these models before they become unavailable.
People don’t like the iPhone 14 series because they are not professional models.
The iPhone 14 series is well supplied, so if you order one, it will ship the next day. It is also in stock at retail stores. In other words, Chinese customers (and not only them) are not interested in non-Pro models.
The iPhone 14 Pro/Max assembly site in Zhengzhou, Foxconn’s primary iPhone 14 Pro/Max assembly site, was impacted by the outbreak of the SARS virus in October.
Apple has released a statement saying that they are working closely with their suppliers to get production back to normal at the same time. They added that getting a new phone would take longer.
