The rechargeable lithium ion battery pack is visible when the camera is turned off. Depending on usage, the battery should last six to twelve months between charges. It may be simply removed by pressing the silver tab. Take it inside and charge it for many hours with the supplied USB charging cord until the LED turns from red and green to just green.
