When asked if the Polyphony Digital riders would jump, Yamauchi replied, “Yes, I think so.” He revealed some concerns about how Gran Turismo 7 would be ported to his PC. “There aren’t many platforms that can run games natively at 4K/60p, so narrowing down platforms allows us to do that.” It’s not a very easy subject, but obviously we look at it and consider it.

In recent months, Sony has set a goal of having a third of its original releases on its PC by 2025. Spider-Man games like Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted 4, Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and Sackboy: Big Adventure have already been ported to the platform. The Last Of Us Part 1 was promised “soon” after its September release, and we can’t wait for Naughty Dog’s release date.

There is still no word on whether Gran Turismo 7 will come to PC in the future, but Yamauchi’s comments suggest that this may be in the works. We will inform you about future developments.
