In Windows 11 and Windows 10, the taskbar now creates a floating area that only displays the most recent app that has been used or opened if you have a lot of active apps. If you want to see all your open tabs at once, you can use the “will bring tabs to File Explorer” feature. However, in the meantime, we put up one guide that will go over features that have already been added to the taskbar and how to use them. Here are some tips:
- To enable taskbar overflow in Windows 11, open Settings and click on System. Then under “Taskbar,” select “Show hidden icons and tasks.”
- To get more information about each app’s activity, open its properties in the “App details” pane. You can see how many times it has been used, opened, or closed by looking at its tab count and other details.
