- Open the Settings app and navigate to the General section.
- Scroll down to the Lock Screen section and select it.
- Scroll down to the Wallpaper section and select one of the new animated wallpapers that we’ve added to iOS 16.

Steps to Set Different Wallpaper for Home Screen and Lock Screen on iPhone
To customize your iPhone, long-press on the screen to bring up the lock screen. Swipe down from the top of the screen to access the lock screen features.

The next steps are the same for both options. Select a new image from Photos and after previewing, tap “Done” twice.
The home screen on your device has been changed, but the lock screen remains unchanged.
