iOS 16.2 Beta 3 now allows iPhone 14 Pro users to turn off always-on wallpaper and notifications. This will make the phone look more like a standard iPhone, without all of the extra features that come with the high-end models.

The two brightness settings are also available. The “normal” setting is the default and will be used if you leave your iPhone 14 Pro alone. The “high” setting will make your wallpaper brighter and should be used if you want to see more details on your screen at night or in bright sunlight.

iOS 16.2 has two more settings: Show Wallpaper and Show Notifications. You can turn both off, or leave one on and turn the other off. When turned off, when the phone is locked or idle, the lock screen will only show a black wallpaper with a clock and widgets.

Many Android smartphones on the market offer users the option to turn off the always-on display, so you can keep the clock and all locks like weather and calendar reminders on without sacrificing battery life. You can see screen widgets. Apple’s latest Always-On Display update iOS 16.2 Beta helps fix iPhone 14 Pro battery issues.
