The headset is designed to improve your audio experience. The boom microphone allows you to communicate with others in a clear and concise manner, even in noisy environments. The headset also features a retractable microphone that makes it easy to take calls without having to remove the entire headset.

The internal 40mm dynamic drivers deliver a frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz. The headset is Bluetooth 5.0 compatible and supports AAC and SBC codecs, but not AptX. A handy feature is that the headset can be paired with up to two devices simultaneously. This means that you can answer calls on your phone and participate in video conferences on your computer without having to disconnect and re-pair each time.

The volume and track navigation buttons on the right earcup are responsible for both volume and track navigation. We found that we had to press the up and down buttons simultaneously to navigate between the Voice and Music EQ modes. This made a significant difference in how easy it was to adjust the volume.

The multifunctional button is used for power on, playback, managing calls, Bluetooth pairing, and the Hear Yourself function. In testing, the Hear Yourself function did not seem to do anything. However, all other functions worked flawlessly. In addition, the JLab logo on the right ear serves as a mute button when pressed and you hear a voice prompt.
