The Smart Thermostat Enhanced is a new thermostat model that looks similar to the Premium model, but instead of a zinc housing, it has a white plastic housing with rounded corners. It measures 4.09 x 4.09 x 0.94 inches (HWD) and has a 4-inch, 540 x 540 resolution color touchscreen behind glossy black glass.
The screen displays the current room temperature in large white font and the current humidity in smaller font. The set temperature appears below the room temperature display, while a weather icon in the upper left corner displays the current weather conditions and weekly forecast when tapped.
The Eco+ tools allow you to reduce energy costs by stopping the system when doors or windows are open and adjusting the temperature according to humidity.
In the system settings, you can select an HVAC mode and activate connected accessories. Sensor settings allow you to add and configure room sensors. You can also use the Schedule setting to create custom schedules for Absence, Home, and Sleep modes, and the Comfort Settings menu to set temperatures for Absence, Home, and Sleep modes. Other options allow you to set filter and maintenance reminders and alerts, and select a temperature display.
The Enhanced Thermostat is a smart thermostat that works with most 24 V gas and oil furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, humidifiers, dehumidifiers and fans. It has a built-in dual-band Wi-Fi radio to connect to your home network via 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz, and an integrated radar-based sensor that automatically adjusts temperature based on occupancy; the latter also serves as a safety sensor. In addition to the thermostat, you’ll receive a mounting plate with eight terminals, a white wall cover, a power adapter kit for homes that don’t have C-cable, mounting screws, cable labels, and installation instructions in the box.
